on wed, it was the 2006 National Track and Field finals.. i was pretty much anticipating it.. in fact.. i had been thinking of it since last wed.. but when it finally came.. how i wished this day would stay forever and ever..

firstly, this finals meant a chance for all of us to come together and cheer for a common goal.. but it also spells the final day where we would see the J2s.. after so much we have went through.. i have already regarded all of them as family.. and that day, it was like a final family gathering? haix.. on the surface i was smiling.. but i knew, once we leave, it would be quite some time b4 we come together again..

so i took a camera along=) and the throwers managed to spend some time together.. first tim see gavin carry backpack. haha he looked so guai. which is soo wrong. a piah kia with a guai look=p the councillors came late! oh man. and they kept asking us to cheer skol cheers when we wanted to cheer for those who were running.. which got most of us pretty pissed. owells.

and the girls did well for the sprints, kudos to sharon and yujia! and for 4 by 1 relay, oh man. it was the most exciting race ever! all of us were screaming our hearts out and we were sooo scared that at the finishing line, others will catch up! so when we saw them pass the finishing line first, we all screamed for joy!!! =DD and ms koh whked me pretty hard on my shoulder=p hehe. for 4 by 4, we came in third, but nevertheless, they all put in their best and i was very proud of them=D

the bad news came right after, cuz they said that we lost the third placing by 1 point. 1 point?? i was lost for words.. everyone else was also in shock.. and right then, i felt my eye welling up with tears.. having witnessed the girls team, from a 2nd placing last year, drop to a 4th placing, i just couldnt describe that feeling.. i din even have the mood to go on watching the last race..

but by the time the prizes were presented, we all sorta cooled down.. and then. IT WAS PICTURES TIME! haha. it was quite funny, cuz leon was asking us to take pictures with him, and bx and i din really wanted to. and he kept on saying "pls pls", so we decided o be nice ppl=)

we took our throws pic too! tho not everyone was here. and aaron is a lousy photographer! haha. not really lousy in skills la, but lousy in.. erm. ah! preparing us for the shot=) he was like "ok, 1,2,3!... 4,5,6" -.-lll

when we were waiting for the bus, the guys were being super sick la. they took sf's balloon, which was supposed to be a dog that gloria made for her, and made it into a duno what la. it just looked pretty sick. then they put it at justin's butt and took a pic. wah kao. ugh.

the worst thing was they made it into some animal, and said that the eyes looked like mine. so they wanted to put it next to me, take a pic and compare>.< so i ran away. and the bus chose to come at this time. i tried to squeeze my way past them, but got squeezed out. and on the bus they tried to carry ou their plan, and i grabbed bx's bag and scream and scream. haha. and i won! =D

but they still managed to do it at sharon's hse>.< ooh. and we witnessed gavin's constipated look when he tried to contain his laughter. and the best part was that he was laughin at nothing=p

dinner was fun, cuz crystal, bx and i just grabbed one whole pizza for ourselves=) then got ben and jerry's for dessert=D super nice!! after watching the videos of the races, we went off..

i'll never ever forget this big family full of warmth, and this day will always be on my mind...
