i think i really maxed out my calories for the entire month in one single day. haha. For almost a month, my brother and i planned to go for the Delifrance breakfast buffet. but we never got to go cos i dun really like croissants, and i din really think it was worth it to just go there and eat croissants..

but it is only from 745 to 1045, so we had to wake up early. haha. but when we reached the delifrance branch in bishan, there were only like, 5 trays of croissants. and all of them were only 1/4 filled. din look appetising at all. so we decided to go elsewhere. and when we walked out, we saw cafe cartel! so we went to look at the menu(:

looks interesting enough, so we went in to take a seat. the seats very comfy leh. haha. we ordered the ultimate breakfast. it consisted of pancakes, french toast, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, and a muffin. and we also shared a waffle with ice cream.

wah. damn nice!! the pancakes were so fluffly, and the maple syrup was so thick and gooey. the scrambled eggs were made to perfection!! and the sausages' taste were just nice. the bacon also not very fatty, and the muffins were warm and soft! the free flow of bread were also freshly toasted, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside(: the waffle was not as nice as gelare's one, but also not bad(:

after that we went to walk arnd. haha. my brother's been so generous lately. first he buys me a cd, then he buys me ben and jerry's strawberry cheesecake ice cream. and then now he buys me sweets and chocs and anything i want. feels weird. haha. and after that he still queued up for 15mins at this famous chicken rice stall to but chicken rice for our lunch.

haha. hopefully he stays this way!
